The meals here blew me away. Dinner and breakfast were very nice, full of seasonal dishes beautifully presented right in our room. The onsen experience was good, with outdoor tubs offering amazing views of the mountains. The tea and treats waiting for us upon arrival were a nice touch. Our Japanese-style room had a lovely view, and the tatami flooring added authentic charm. There were a few downsides. The indoor onsen could use some maintenance, as it felt a bit dated. The heavy presence of black mold in the toilet area was concerning. The language barrier with the staff sometimes made communication difficult. Despite these issues, the warm hospitality and unique traditional experience were good.

The location is super convenient, just a hop to the cable car. A clean, cozy room with a fine mountain view. Plus, the onsen experience was really relaxing and not too crowded.
The walls seemed like they were auditioning for a horror movie with spider webs. And don't get me started on the lukewarm water in the vending machine. I was hoping for magic, but it was just an ordinary sprite!

The Japanese-style room with a mountain view was cozy and had great amenities like air conditioning, a tv, and yukatas. The view was fine, but the indoor onsen felt a bit dated. I loved the tatami flooring, it added an authentic charm. There was a noticeable smell from the toilet area that drifted into the room. A comfy stay despite the few issues.
